Terms & Conditions

The terms on which we provide our website and services.

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of teachertax.site and the services provided by TEACHER TAX REBATES LIMITED (company number 12543301, registered office 14 Clumber Drive, Northampton, NN3 3NX). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Our services

We provide information, guidance and — where you choose — a service to review, prepare and submit tax-relief claims to HMRC on your behalf. We act as your agent for the purpose of the claim. Our HMRC Agent Reference Number is available on request.

Your right to claim directly

You can claim a tax refund directly from HMRC yourself, free of charge, at gov.uk. You are under no obligation to use us or any agent. Our fees are charged for the optional convenience of our service.

Fees

Our fees are set out on our Fees page and are confirmed to you before you commit. Checking your eligibility is free. Where a fee applies, it is payable as described at the point of purchase. Our Managed Claim Service and 4-Year Review are provided on a money-back basis where HMRC confirms no rebate is due.

Refunds from HMRC

Any tax refund is paid by HMRC directly to you. We do not receive, hold or handle your refund. We cannot guarantee that a rebate will be due or the amount of any rebate, as this is determined solely by HMRC based on your circumstances.

Your responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate, complete and truthful information.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you give us for your claim.
  • You must inform us of any change that may affect your claim.

Liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate information you provide, from HMRC's decisions, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Cancellation

Your cancellation rights are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
